New Patients

When you walk into Shaver Chiropractic & Natural Medicine, you will immediately feel at home in our beautifully designed facility. Our welcoming team keeps a friendly, professional environment that will put you at ease. The onboarding paperwork for new patients can be completed online prior to your visit.

Visit #1: Your New Patient Experience (generally requires 60-90 minutes)

Your first day is about gaining an understanding of your health status to determine how we can best help. The appointment will include conversation with one of our doctors, medical history, and physical examination. Any necessary X-rays will be obtained during this visit for proper evaluation of your spine and, possibly, additional areas of concern. Examination clothing is t-shirt and shorts without zippers or buttons; you may wear your own or we can provide appropriate clothing. This appointment equips our doctors with the information necessary to develop your diagnosis and treatment recommendations which will be presented at your Report of Findings.

Visit #2: Your Report of Findings (generally requires 60-90 minutes)

You will meet with one of our doctors at this appointment to see your x-rays and hear explanation of what was learned at your first visit. You will be provided with a written report containing our doctors' explanation and recommendations for your care. You will meet with our practice administrator to learn about scheduling, insurance, and the most cost-effective means to pursue the recommended healthcare. If our doctors accept your case and you choose to pursue the recommended healthcare, your first treatment will be administered at this appointment..

Subsequent Visits (generally require 15-30 minutes)
